O Rio Ave recebeu esta manhã o Trofense e bateu o conjunto orientado pelo vila-condense Daniel Ramos por 2-0. A nossa equipa chegou ao intervalo empatada a zero bolas, mas na segunda parte Ronaldo, respondendo a um excelente cruzamento de Fábio Coentrão e depois Láercio, de bola parada, fizeram os dois golos que deram o primeiro triunfo da temporada ao Rio Ave. A equipa de João Eusébio deu uma boa resposta frente ao conjunto do concelho vizinho da Trofa, uma equipa recém promovida à Liga de Honra, mas que conta nos seus quadros com experientes ex-jogadores do nosso clube como Mozer ou Idalécio.
Um teste promissor numa manhã bastante quente por Vila do Conde, com o Rio Ave a dar os primeiros sinais de que tudo irá fazer para conseguir a promoção à Liga Bwin.com.

Foi uma manhã de encher as medidas. Um Rio Ave claramente de Primeira e transfigurado em relação à época passada. Frente a um Trofense bem mais rodado a equipa deu boa resposta. Acima de tudo, a diferença foi abissal em relação ao desastre que foi o primeiro amigável da época passada, contra o Feirense. Que alegria voltar a ver o Rio Ave a jogar em velocidade pelas alas e a fazer contra-ataques "à Brito". Nota ainda para a grande salva de palmas a Idalécio quando foi substituído e para o despropósito da contestação de um conhecido sócio quando Gama foi rendido por Toninho na segunda parte. João Eusébio está a lançar a equipa em bases interessantes e que despertam expectativa. A descida não está esquecida, mas pelo que se viu contra o Trofense merece o nosso apoio. O FESTIVAL DA JUVENTUDE DE VILA DO CONDE É UMA VERGONHA PARA OS JOVENS DESTA TERRA. Frente a uma equipa que ja tinha realizado outros jogos particulares(para o RIO AVE foi o primeiro)o RIO AVE deu boa conta de si e mostrou que tem futebol para disputar os lugares cimeiros e quiça lutar pela subida.Gostaria de salientar a boa afluencia de publico,mostrando desta forma que os socios e adeptos não esmoreceram com a descida,esperando eu que este apoio se mantenha no decorrer do campeonato.Tambem não passou despercebido dos socios a presença de Franco junto a estes,pedindo-lhe que regressasse,que bom seria...FORÇA RIO AVE!!!! Agora, não concordo com as palavras do nosso Presidente, qd nos diz que este é o plantel mais equilibrado desde que está á frente do Clube ... Temos um único defesa lateral de raiz, neste caso o Milhazes, todos os demais serão adaptações, desde o Ricardo Jorge, o marquinhos ou o samsom (não estou a crer que o treinador aposte no Pedrinho). Já ao nível dos centrais, penso que nos faz falta alguém que possa dar garantias em caso de lesão do Danielson ou do Bruno Mendes. Devo dizer, perante o que vi (toda a 1ª parte e 5 min. da 2ª) que não se vislumbra grandes diferenças para a época transacta. Uma equipa amorfa, desorientada e sem saber o que fazer á bola ! Não gostei, mas tb foi o 1º jogo da época ! Espero, face aos comentários aqui colocados, que de facto a 2ª parte tenha sido bem melhor!

Já repararam que o site oficial do Rio Ave está desactualizado ??Como é possivel,por exemplo, ainda lá estarem os nomes de Moser e Idalécio,como se estes ainda fizessem parte do plantel.O meu lamento,acho que os vilacondenses mereciam estar actualizados.
